Click on the Quoted checkbox to mark the project as quoted and also to bring up the quote creation modal window as shown in the screenshot below.
Quote approval: Your client can approve quotes via the link (Permalink) of this invoice. You can also see status of approval, set this quote as approved or unapproved right at the top of this modal window. When a quote is approved via the permalink, an confirmation email will be sent to your client (with you cc'd inside) while also having the PDF format of the quote attached in the email. Clicking Approve in this modal window will not send a confirmation email to your client. When you approve a quote yourself, we take it that the agreement has been bound outside of the app, so a quote confirmation email will not be sent.
Quote no: Some uses date as quote numbers and others use incrementing numbers. To cater for both types of users, the last quote number will be shown in the Quote no. field so that users who use incrementing numbers as quote numbers know what the next number should be.
Issue date: You can enter dates in natural human language, eg. tomorrow, today, this thursday, next week, 25 april etc
Currency: Select a currency for this quote, you can also manually type in the currency
PO no: Purchase order number if applicable to this quote
Discount: Enter a number between 1 - 100. This discount will be used to calculate the grand total of the quote and will also be reflected in the quote.
Edit Terms: To enter Terms & Conditions for this quote, click the Edit Terms button on the lower left. A window will appear letting you enter your Terms & Conditions
Saving: To save the quote and continue editing, click Save. To save and then send this quote to your client via email, click Save & Send.
Deleting: When you click the Delete button, all data on this quote will be cleared and reset permanently.
